Lovebug Season
I have to say I'm quite happy that those little critters are gone! And so is my car!!
Today was a very busy day for TSIC. We are all running around to check off our To-Do list for Celebration of Hope.
Lisa and I met today to discuss another exciting opportunity for June. We are in the process of putting together a 'Life Skills' summer camp for 15 students. The camp would have numerous activities all centered around business, education, community and the arts.
We're very blessed to have the support of many Sarasota community members, but always looking for more. If you're interested in helping out with the camp, please email Dana at dana@takestocksarasota.org.

A Day of Celebration
Good Morning!
What an exciting morning...The Royal Wedding was certainly something spectacular to watch wasn't it? I got up early this morning to watch the beautiful ceremony take place. There are now thousands and thousands of people parading into Buckingham Palace to watch the famous kiss. Absolutely amazing!
For those of you that don't know me, I have been so fortunate to join the WONDERFUL Take Stock in Children of Sarasota County team as their new Director of Marketing and Development. From time to time, each of us will be telling updates via this new blog! Check back daily for interesting stories, updates on events, announcements, etc.
